Appearance: Colourless to light yellow oily liquid.

Properties : An emollient ester with fast absorbing and good skin penetration. Also functions as moisturizer. It forms a thin layer on the skin and easily penetrates. It is used to impart silkiness to the skin and hair.

Applications : Widely used emollient and moisturiser in baby care, colour cosmetic, hair care, skin care and sun care products. This product is also known to thicken cosmetics such as mascaras, foundations and concealers. It is also a main ingredient in many other personal care products such as lotions, facial creams and styling aids.
