A saturated petrochemical ester which can be used in numerous lubricant formulations.
Exhibits excellent thermo-oxidative stability and low temperature behaviour.
Miscible with all petrochemical base stock qualities as well as Group IV base oils. The miscibility with polyalkylene glycols depends on the chemical structure and the corresponding polarity which defines the oil-solubility. Can be used as an ideal blending component for various lubricants in order to incorporate a biodegradable base oil system.
Due to its very low volatility compared to petrochemical base stocks of the same viscosity grade can be used in high temperature applications with minimal loss of material during usage.
