The base fluid of choice in formulating chain oils for various applications like lifting chains for cranes, sluice gates, forklifts, forges, rolling mills and conveyor systems. Other applications include 2-stroke engine oils, gear oils and greases.
As a lubricity additive, performs very well as a mineral-oil free base fluid and as a lubricity booster in both neat oils and emulsifiable metalworking fluids. The product is highly hydrolytically stable and leaves very low levels of deposits and varnish after use.
