An oleochemical di-ester which can be used in various lubricant formulations as a Group V base stock or an additive.

Can be formulated as a base fluid or as a lubricity additive. It is the base fluid of choice in formulating high performance lubricants for various applications. In particular lubricants demanding good low temperature properties and excellent oxidative stability.

Offers high hydrolytic stability due to the branched fatty acid system which makes the ester superior to linear ester systems of comparable and other viscosity grades.

As a lubricity additive, performs very well in both straight oil and emulsifiable metalworking fluids as well as in industrial oils. Its low volatility ensures lubricity over a wide temperature range.

Also offers good compatibility with standard elastomer NBR1.
