An unsaturated oleochemical ester which can be used in various lubricant formulations.

Used as part of the base stock system as a thickener or as an additive to boost lubrication behaviour. This TMP ester combines excellent lubricity with low pour point and good elastomer compatibility. The high shear stability ensures retention of the viscosity profile during demanding usage in high stress applications.
Provides high film strength on the contact with metal which provides good wettability and friction reduction.
Due to its very low volatility compared to petrochemical base stocks of the same viscosity grade it can also be used in high temperature applications with minimized loss of material during usage.
Used for lubricants in accordance with the European Eco Label (EEL) and has been approved for the Lubricant Substance Classification list (LuSC).
