Used as part of the base stock system or as an additive to boost lubrication behaviour.
This TMP ester combines excellent lubricity with low pour point and good elastomer compatibility. The high shear stability ensures retention of the viscosity profile during demanding usage in high stress applications.
Provides high film strength on the contact with metal which provides good wettability and friction reduction.
Due to its very low volatility compared to petrochemical base stocks of the same viscosity grade, it can also be used in high temperature applications with minimized loss of material during usage.
